In footage released by the Pentagon Saturday, Osama bin Laden glances upon congressional floor proceedings on an Arabic news channel
Osama bin Laden, sequestered in his bunker-like house in Abbottabad, appears to have been like many television viewers, occasionally landing on shots of the Senate floor while flipping through channels for news.
In home videos of bin Laden released by the Pentagon Saturday, the al Qaeda leader sits on a cluttered floor, flipping through stations on a small set atop a wooden desk, mostly watching coverage of himself. For a moment, however, he also appears to watch U.S. Senate floor proceedings on an Arabic news channel.
A second still-shot from the video clip, below, shows a female U.S. senator presiding over the chamber. It's difficult to tell from the small television screen, but she bears a low-res resemblance to Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-M.O.). Just a guess.
