Obama Breaks His Own YouTube Record

By Chris Good

President Obama has topped his own personal record for YouTube views.

The video of the president's speech at last weekend's White House Correspondents dinner, uploaded to YouTube by C-SPAN, has hit 6,767,476 views as of this writing. His previously most-viewed video, his speech on race delivered in Philadelphia during the 2008 presidential contest, currently has 6,762,408 views.

One was a groundbreaking address on social politics in America. The other followed Seth Myers. Go figure.

Neither of them come close to the 37,954,056 views won by Obama Girl's "Super Obama Girl!", the 23,786,823 views of "Homer Simpson Tries to Vote for Obama," or the 22,164,781 views of the Will.i.am-led "Yes We Can" video.
