Hancock, N.H. -- Jon Huntsman is in the midst of his first New Hampshire campaign swing. He is "doing his diligence," as he likes to say, and not committing to anything just yet. That goes for more than just the question of whether or not he'll formally enter the race.
Responding to a question about how to save Medicare: "What I'm saying is, we need more options."
On education: "What's important is that we come up with a pathway to early childhood development. We need more in the way of choices within the marketplace."
On which clean energy technologies might replace oil: "All of the alternatives have to be on the table."
On the economy: "We either choose to have a lost decade and just continue to amble forward. Or we unleash the magic, and the innovation, and the power, the creative forces in this country, and launch an industrial revolution."
For the record, one place where he isn't pro-choice is on abortion.
