Piers Morgan to Condoleezza Rice: Are You High Maintenance? What Would You Cook for Me?

Piers Morgan, a British guy who likes to ask nosy questions, recently asked some of Condoleezza Rice. Among them were: Why aren't you married? You don't seem like you'd be a subservient wife. Are you high maintenance? What if I were to woo you? What would you cook for me?

Morgan's M.O., as CNN's newest primetime host ("Piers Morgan Tonight" airs at 9 p.m. ET every night), is to ask lifestyle-page questions of famous people. Which is a noble goal -- people care about the lives and personalities of important types, probably more than anything they have to say.

Nevertheless, the line of Rice questioning will probably make some uncomfortable:
