Partisan Showdown: The Meaning of Christmas

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's heart is two sizes too small, according to Sen. Jon Kyl (R-AZ), who basically accused Reid of stealing Christmas from his fellow senators when he suggested they work the week after Christmas.

Neither Reid nor Kyl seem to think the other's heart will grow three sizes larger this holiday season. Here's what the Senators have to say:

"As a Christian, no one has to remind me of the importance of Christmas for all of the Christian faith, for all their families, all across America," [Reid] said. "I don't need to hear the sanctimonious lectures of Sen. Kyl and [Sen. Jim] DeMint to remind me of what Christmas means. ...

... Kyl saying Reid was "disrespecting one of the two holiest of holidays for Christians."
