"I am confident of that because yesterday they made it clear that the Stupak language...will not be part of their package," Boehner said this morning on MSNBC. "As a result, Joe Cao from Louisiana, the only Republican that did vote 'yes' is likely to vote 'no.'"
The bill passed by the House in November was a far more ambitious package than what's being considered now. (It included the public option, for instance.) Apparently the Senate's less-ambitious bill doesn't change the voting calculus for the GOP.
