Tracking the GOP race to 2012

Mitt Romney defended the Bush administration at CPAC; Mike Huckabee visited South Carolina before he was slated to appear at CPAC; he'll also keynote a Feb. 24 fundraiser for the Iowa Family PAC; President Obama leads GOP 2012 hopefuls in a new Public Policy Polling survey, but Mitt Romney comes closest, trailing the president 45% to 43%; and Sarah Palin is backing Sean Duffy, the Wisconsin Republican who is challenging House Appropriations Committee Chairman David Obey (D-WI) in 2010.
