Romney At CPAC: No Apologies

Mitt Romney played to a full house at the Conservative Political Action Conference at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel today in Washington, DC. He covered all of the basic talking points including a special shout out to Scott Brown, which drew big cheers, and the state of Massachusetts, to which he gave credit for stopping "Obamacare."
And he had some good things to say about the Bush administration.

A strange choice only a year removed, Romney invoked George W. Bush who "took down the Taliban" and "kept us safe," and who, he is sure, "history will judge more kindly" than President Obama. Even more curiously, he praised Dick Cheney for his "I don't give a damn" approach to politics. This drew a standing ovation.

"I...respect the loyalty and indefatigable defense of truth that comes from our 'I don't give a damn' Vice President Dick Cheney!" Romney said.

In nearly the same breath, Romney railed on reading Miranda rights to terrorists and said his party would support human rights. Then he plugged his book. No Apologies.
