BCS Game Gets Political In Texas

For Republicans in the state of Texas, tonight's BCS championship game will turn political during the broadcast. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R), who is running a hotly contested race for governor against incumbent Rick Perry, will run a TV ad during the Texas vs. Alabama game attacking Perry, and featuring a banner that reads, "Hook Em Horns!"; Perry shot back today with a Crimson-Tide-themed web ad accusing Hutchison of supporting out-of-state earmarks (something any "yes" vote on a spending bill with earmarks would signify) for Alabama.
