John Ensign (R-NV) says he won't resign, because it would hurt Republicans' chances of unseating Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV); and now that Bill Slaton has dropped his bid, the Democratic field is clear for Dr. Ami Bera (D) to challenge Rep. Dan Lungren (R-CA).
