Today, we learned that an Army recruiter was shot and killed in Little Rock; President Obama nominated Republican Rep. John McHugh as secretary of the Army; the Saudi ambassador says reporters should cover whatever they want; a former colleague penned an op-ed backing Sonia Sotomayor; Americans are skeptical of the Muslim world; Tim Pawlenty is not running for reelection, and he says he doesn't know what the future will hold; the CIA paid tribute to an officer killed in the line of duty; and John McCain won the battle over Marine One.
We also considered the White House's argument that health reform will lower costs and spur GDP; Pawlenty's decision; whether Dick Cheney has won the Gitmo fight; why Obama chose Egypt; Mitt Romney as GM chairman; and whether Romney would take the job, if offered.

Tomorrow: President Obama arrives in Saudi Arabia and meeds with King Abdullah; Hillary Clinton is in Egypt; Joe Biden holds a roundtable discussion with governors on high-speed rail grants in the stimulus; the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee holds a hearing on GM and Chrysler dealership closures, where GM CEO Fritz Henderson will testify.
