The DCCC is also starting an online petition calling on Republicans to denounce Gingrich for calling Sonia Sotomayor a "racist."
After Gingrich leveled that charge last week, Democrats have viewed Gingrich's accusation--and the media attention it's gotten--as a boon for their party, and two days later the DCCC referenced Gingrich in a press release to targeted districts.
Other groups currently use Google ads for political purposes: when users search for "Democrat" or "Republican," Google displays ads from American Rights at Work promoting the Employee Free Choice Act, as well as campaign ads for Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) (as long as "Democrats" is pluralized.
