Proof that unions and businessmen can get along: labor is helping venture capitalist Scott Murphy down the stretch in his race against Republican Jim Tedisco. The Service Employees International Union just spent $150,000 to air a
TV ad supporting him, and union members will hold a rally and canvas for Murphy on Saturday. For the record, Murphy supports the Employee Free Choice Act and has a good relationship with labor, spokesman Ryan Rudominer tells me. More on the Murphy/Tedisco special election
