The Snob Factor

Barack Obama thinks America's schools should be the best in the world, and that means doing as good a job as other countries do of teaching our children foreign languages. This, it seems, makes him a snob in the eyes of The Weekly Standard (via Julian Sanchez) where they apparently feel that a healthy respect for the common man requires a vote for John McCain and a willingness to settle for low-performing public services. Don't hope for a better life, accept mediocrity!
