On the Clinton conference call this morning, Howard Wolfson--under rather aggressive questioning from Mother Jones' David Corn--said he didn't know how Hillary felt about her husbands pardons of two former Weathermen. But he drew a distinction by pointing out that no Weathermen ever held fundraisers for Hillary Clinton.Wolfson's got a distinction drawn, alright, but doesn't it cut the other way -- I'd much rather vote for a politician who received favors from a bad person than a politician who's given favors to a bad person. This whole subject is, however, essentially BS when flying in either direction.
