Power Resigns

It seems that Samantha Power has resigned from the Obama campaign in the wake of a reference to Hillary Clinton as a "monster" in an interview with The Scotsman (and why was should doing an interview with The Scotsman anyway?) that she's since apologized for. I hadn't thought she had a formal position with the campaign to begin with so probably not a ton of substantive significance here. UPDATE: Well, David Kurtz says "In the constellation of Obama advisers, the 37-year-old Irish-born Power has as high a profile and as close a relationship to the candidate as anyone."
