London, Thursday 3 May 2007 – Washington-bassed political commentator and journalist, Michael Tomasky, has been appointed editor of Guardian America, the Guardian's US website. He takes up his new post on 7 May and will be responsible for developing the Guardian's online presence in America.Congratulations to Mike and to The Guardian, I think it's a very good match.
