Paul McNulty's resignation, Chuck Schumer gets it just right: "“It seems ironic that Paul McNulty who at least tried to level with the committee goes while Gonzales who stonewalled the committee is still in charge." I have a longstanding contention that the not-actually-ironic nature of the various purported examples of irony in the song
is the ironic part and not just some kind of coincidence.
