Paying more in taxes, a safe sex-mandate, rejecting the abolishment of the death penalty—what is going in California? All those initiatives (the safe sex one was something to do with male porn stars being required to wear condoms during filming—we're absolutely not kidding) were on the ballot in California on Tuesday, and all of them passed, which is sort of weird for Cali. We and Jon Stewart expect that kind of stuff from .... more serious states—not the irresponsible, free-wheeling, unprotected pornographic sex capital of the U.S. we've all grown to love. The one good thing that Stewart points out though, is that even though California is growing up and getting all serious, some things never change—like, you know, the ladies of The View.
