Hillary Clinton Loses the Scrunchie in Colombia

The secretary of state lets her hair down in Cartagena -- leading to the inevitable Drunk Texts from Hillary meme.

Hillary Clinton is seriously having a moment. Her approval ratings are sky-high. Her name is constantly floated as a vice presidential or presidential candidate. She was the subject of one of the year's best memes, then showed how cool she is by actually taking part in it. And now, here are some photos of Madam Secretary letting her hair down and grooving on the dance floor.

Clinton was in Cartagena with the president for the Summit of the Americas, and after several long days of diplomacy, she found time for dancing and drinks at a bar called (siren!) Cafe Havana. Here, have another:

The photos, awesome as they are, have already attracted scrutiny -- mostly in the form of self-parodic media coverage. Exhibit A is the New York Post, which went with the characteristically classy "SWILLARY" on the wood. Meanwhile, Politico miraculously found a way to turn this into horserace coverage: "Clinton letting her hair down is the kind of thing that would play well in that presidential run in 2016 that some of her supporters have suddenly started talking about in the last few weeks." Do they all have a keyboard shortcut for hollow 2016 speculation?

Inexplicably, however, we haven't seen Drunk Texts from Hillary anywhere. Come on, Internet! Make your own versions here and send us your best.
