Gingrich Loses Top Fundraisers

This week saw more trouble for former House speaker Newt Gingrich's presidential hopes, after the en-masse resignation of his campaign aides earlier this month. Via The Hill's Jordan Fabian, Gingrich has now lost his two of his top fundraisers:

Gingrich fundraising director Jody Thomas and fundraising consultant Mary Heitman are no longer with the campaign, according to spokesman R.C. Hammond.

"We still think the very best of them and it was an amicable parting," he told The Hill on Tuesday.
