Bloomberg Spider-Man.jpg

At the annual Inner Circle roast by journalists -- the same event where then-Mayor Rudy Giuliani dressed as Marilyn Monroe in 1997 -- New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg riffed on the Broadway play, "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark," by dressing up as the superhero. Lest there were any lingering doubts about his political ambitions, I think this officially counts as him foreclosing a future bid for the presidency.
