RNC Chairman Debate Goes on Without Steele

More

Candidates for chairman of the Republican National Committee are debating right now, and current Chairman Michael Steele isn't among them.

FreedomWorks, the Tea-Party-allied group chaired by former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, invited major candidates for the RNC chairmanship to attend a debate-esque panel today at the group's headquarters in downtown Washington, DC. FreedomWorks invited Steele, but he didn't respond.

FreedomWorks staff are asking questions of the assembled choir of RNC candidates right now; the event, which began at 2 p.m., is being webcast here.
