Walberg: Obama Hasn't Laid Birther Issues to Rest

Here's Rep. Tim Walberg (R-MI), who, I'll vouch, is a nice, seemingly well intentioned guy, talking to a small crowd about birtherism. "I'm going to take him at his word that he's an American citizen. I don't know why it's not resolved other than the fact that the president hasn't resolved it yet," Walberg says, suggesting the president show his birth certificate.

Obama, meanwhile, has posted a copy of his birth certificate online, at Fightthesmears.com, a website dedicated to fighting birther rumors. Birthers say it's fake.
