In light of former Sen. Ted Stevens's death, Alaska's Republican Senate candidate Joe Miller will cancel a rally scheduled for tonight, the campaign just announced. Miller was slated to attend a concert/rally with country singer Bryan White at a church in Fairbanks.

Meanwhile, Sen. Lisa Murkowski (whom Miller is opposing in a primary) will hold a press availability on the news about Stevens at 1:30 p.m. Alaska time/5:30 p.m. Eastern at the Ted Stevens International Airport in Anchorage.
