A Stimulus Package for the Boston Red Sox?

Good Lord! Lowell, Beckett, Ellsbury, Hermida, Martinez, Lowrie (although what else is new?), Buchholz, Delcarmen, [Update: Pedroia], and now Varitek, too?! If the Senate can't pass an employment package to help a country ravaged by job loss, maybe it can at least do something for a team ravaged by job loss due to injury. Scott Brown, if you want to cinch your reelection, now is the moment for bipartisan action. Do not delay. Some kind of bailout package, perhaps, funded by a sharp tax hike on those arrogant hedge-fund managers who drop $5K on Yankees tickets.
