Joe Barton to Star in Democratic TV Ad

The Democratic Party has wasted no time in calling attention to Joe Barton's apology to BP: the Texas congressman now finds himself starring in a national TV ad from the Democratic National Committee:



The DNC is trying to get the ad up on the air this weekend. It will air on CNN and MSNBC, both in the DC media market and nationwide. The DNC is raising money from its supporters specifically for this ad, and it wouldn't say how much money it's initially committed to airing it, but its runtime will depend on how much the DNC raises for it.
