Mitt Romney ties President Obama in a PPP survey at 44%, while both Romney and Mike Huckabee lead Obama among independents; Romney spoke at the National Center for Policy Analysis in Dallas Thursday; Tim Pawlenty will address the American Israel Public Affairs Committee conference in Washington, DC this Sunday; Eric Cantor will speak there Monday; and Sarah Palin will speak at a conference on May 1 in Independence, Missouri, the childhood home of Harry Truman.
