Republican Party Still Helping Crist?
By
Sen. John Cornyn, chairman of the GOP's Senate campaign arm, seemed to back away from his endorsement of Florida Gov. Charlie Crist this week when he cast it as a move he made "selfishly" without knowing anything about Marco Rubio, but the St. Petersburg Times reports that the National Republican Senatorial Committee is still helping Crist, noting events for Crist, but not Rubio, in a memo about upcoming fundraisers.
The Crist/Rubio primary, meanwhile, has taken a cosmetic turn: Crist is insinuating Rubio may have used the Florida GOP's credit card for a back wax.
