Mary Landrieu (D-LA) says Bobby Jindal helped her secure the deal for federal Medicaid funds for Louisiana to get her to vote for the health care overall; Jindal will join other GOP luminaries in attending the Southern Republican Leadership Conference; Newt Gingrich was on-hand in Salt Lake City to endorse Sen. Bob Bennett (R-UT) when he officially launched his reelection campaign; he also spoke at the Claremont Colleges; Mike Huckabee will campaign for Iowa GOP gubernatorial candidate Bob Vander Plaats at a fundraiser in Cedar Rapids Feb. 24.
