Tracking the GOP race to 2012

Ron Paul won the Conservative Political Action Conference straw poll by a wide margin, collecting 31 percent while the only GOP contender to come close was Mitt Romney, who got 22 percent of the vote; Mike Huckabee said he didn't attend CPAC because he said it's adopted a standard of pay to play, and he pointed out that the tea partiers need to focus their energy into good government; Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, and Mike Pence all addressed CPAC over the weekend; rapper Sky Blu says Romney started their confrontation aboard an Air Canada flight; and Haley Barbour, who chairs the Republican Governors Association, says the White House should include governors in its health care summit.
