Tracking the GOP race to 2012
2012 candidates will now benefit from direct corporate (or, less likely for Republicans) union spending; Mitt Romney's '08 team deserves some credit for Scott Brown's victory in Massachusetts; Sarah Palin says pro-lifers won't "get over" abortion; she'll visit Houston for a rally with Texas Gov. Rick Perry; the Club for Growth suggested that possible presidential contender Mike Pence run for Senate in 2010; Newt Gingrich said the GOP would be "clever" to work with Nancy Pelosi; and Rick Santorum said, again, that he is considering a run for president.
