Rubio Raises Money For Brown
By
It's a GOP candidate crossover special: conservative Florida Senate candidate Marco Rubio is fundraising for his fellow Republican, the less-conservative Scott Brown of Massachusetts.
"In less than two days, we've helped raise almost $30,000 for Republican Scott Brown and made numerous calls on his behalf. With just days to go until Tuesday's election, I encourage you to keep it up and help Scott become the vote Republicans need in the Senate to stop the government takeover of health care being finalized by the Obama-Reid-Pelosi team," Rubio wrote in a fundraising e-mail to supporters today, asking them not only to donate to Brown's campaign, but to phone-bank for him from their homes.
Though Brown, unlike Rubio, isn't the typical Tea Party conservative, they have a shared interest: defeating Democrat Martha Coakley and taking away her party's 60-seat majority in the Senate.
