Progressive Groups: Pass Health Care Through Reconciliation

Three  progressive political action groups, the Progressive Campaign Change Committee, Democracy for America, and CREDO Action are calling on Congress to drop the health care reform process as it is and use the Senate's budget reconciliation rules, which require only 51 votes, to pass a version of reform: the groups, along with CREDO Action, have launched a petition demanding that the Senate do so, and this afternoon they announced that 100,000 people had signed it.
