Latest Bernanke Whip Count

Hotline OnCall's Reid Wilson and Dan Friedman have a whip count on Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke's confirmation vote, which will likely be held soon, and it does not look good for Bernanke: 43 say they'll vote for (or are leaning toward voting for) Bernanke, 17 say they'll vote against him, one (Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse) says he's leaning "no"; and 39 are undecided.

Bernanke's first term as Fed chairman ends this Sunday, Jan. 31.
