Helping Haiti

Pollster.com's Mark Blumenthal echoes a recommendation from The Nation's Peter Rothberg that anyone looking to help Haiti should donate to Partners in Health. There are many, many NGOs in Haiti--identified as the most corrupt nation in the world in 2006--but Blumenthal relays testimonials from his spouse (who practiced medicine with Partners in Health's executive vice president) and a New York Times op-ed by Tracy Kidder that the group is one of the effective ones.
