Beau Biden Won't Run

Will he? Won't he? Will he? He won't.
Beau Biden, son of Vice President Joe Biden, will not run for Senate in Delaware, dealing a recruitment challenge to Democrats, as Biden's current replacement, Sen. Ted Kaufman (D), also isn't interested. There was some confusion about this over the weekend, as Vice President Biden suggested that a reporter should talk Kaufman into running if Beau didn't; which got misunderstood as him suggesting the reporter talk Beau into running.
With the retirement of Rep. Marion Berry (D-AR), it hasn't been a great day for the Democratic electoral mood.
