Mike Huckabee addressed the Maurice Clemmons commutation in a Washington Post op-ed; before he travels to South Carolina Tuesday and Wednesday, Rick Santorum tells ABC that he is "absolutely taking a look" at running for president in 2012 and that Sarah Palin has "done some things that, you know certainly are going to cause her to have to do some explaining if she runs for president"; Palin's favorability rating, meanwhile, has risen to 46 percent (from 39 over the summer), according to CNN's polling; Palin traveled to Iowa over the weekend for her book tour; and Mitt Romney rebuffed Tim Pawlenty's criticism of Massachusetts' health care system and attacked Huckabee's Clemmons commutation on CNN.
