Russia's Failed Missile Test: Fireworks For Obama

Via The Weekly Standard, the Associated Press reports that the strange, spiraling blue lights seen over the skies of Norway Wednesday were caused by a failed Russian ballistic missile test, launched from a submarine in the White Sea. The missile failed in its third stage.
This kind of light show comes from a failed missile launch," said Pavel Felgenhauer, an independent military analyst. "Russia has run free fireworks for the Norwegians."
How's that for timing and symmetry: the failure of a Russian missile provides a light show for President Obama's Nobel Prize receipt and speech that touched on his prime international agenda--nuclear nonproliferation and disarmament. Video below:
