Hurtling Toward 2010, 12/18
By
The 2010 midterms are just around the corner (sort of). Here's what's happening:
Sen. Arlen Specter (D-PA) leads his primary opponent, Rep. Joe Sestak (D-PA), 53 percent to 30 percent but is deadlocked with Republican challenger Pat Toomey, 44 percent to 44 percent, in the state's Senate race according to Quinnipiac; the spokesman for Rand Paul's Kentucky Senate campaign resigned amid allegations that he had racist remarks and pictures on his MySpace page; and the DCCC is clobbering the NRCC in fundraising, while the NRSC outraised the DSCC in November.
