Hurtling Toward 2010, 11/25
By
The 2010 midterms are just around the corner (sort of). Here's what's happening:
Doug Hoffman conceded New York's 23rd district special election for the second time this month; former Rep. J.D. Hayworth (R-AZ) is considering a primary challenge to Sen. John McCain; David Axelrod expressed some regret at failing to recruit Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan to run for President Obama's old Senate seat; and Connecticut state Sen. Sam Cligiuri (R) is dropping his bid to unseat Sen. Chris Dodd (D-CT) to challenge Rep. Chris Murphy (D-CT) instead, on the Connecticut GOP chairman's recommendation.
