Obama Uses McCain-Bush Armlock In New Ad
By
Barack Obama's campaign released an ad Tuesday responding to the Republican National Committee's independent expenditure effort on the two campaigns' energy policies.
The first visual includes a shot of George W. Bush hanging an arm around John McCain -- the first time that the Obama campaign has used a version of "the hug" in their advertising. The ad turns on a series of action phrases: Obama will "raise mileage standards," "fast track technology for alternative fuels," a "$1000 tax credit" for families as "we break the grip of foreign oil.
