Raising The Stakes
By
The Clinton campaign is vigorously denying Drudge's claim that the campaign's internal polling shows an eleven point lead in Pennsylvania. Strategist Geoff Garin called the campaign's latest ad, Kitchen, entirely positive, even though its implicit message is that Pennsylvanians should look to see whether one of the two candidates is a wimp.
Speaking to KDKA-TV this morning, Obama told an interviewer that he expected the race to be much closer than everyone is expecting. But there's disagreement as to what everyone is expecting: there are different ways to interpret a Clinton victory of 2 points, 5 points, eight points and by double digits. (There is only one way to interpret an Obama victory...)
