Michigan Moves Toward New Caucus / Firehouse Primary
By
The New Republic reports that the Michigan Democratic Party is about to submit plans for a brand new caucus to the DNC for consideration.
I'm not so sure that the MDP is that far along, and I think a firehouse primary is still under consideration, but momemtum is building in that state, certainly.
Also today, Sen. Bill Nelson (D-FL) wrote DNC chairman Howard Dean asking him to pay for a new primary or seat the delegation allocated by January's primary.
