Bill Clinton Praises America's Mayor
By
Not Rudy Giuliani.
But Michael Bloomberg, who last week had a well-publicized breakfast with Barack Obama.
Mr. Clinton was speaking in the Bronx this morning and called Bloomberg, who insists he's not running for president while doing everything he can to show some leg, called Bloomberg a "leader."
"None of this would be possible if it weren’t for the leadership of Mayor Bloomberg."
" No city has a more comprehensive, effective plan to get this job done for America and for its own people than New York. So for me, I’m profoundly grateful to the Mayor and glad that he’s given us a chance to work and glad that he’s given me an excuse to come back to the Bronx."
(The context is Bloomberg's work with the New York City Housing Authority to reduce greenhouse emissions.)
