Romney Raises $14M; Contributes $6.5M

Ex-MA Gov. Mitt Romney will post receipts of more than $20M this quarter, thanks to a last minute infusion of more than six million dollars of the candidates' own money.
Romney raised more than $14M this quarter from other donors, his campaign said. It found 50,000 new contributors. Romney contributed $6.5M this quarter.
Ex-NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani has yet to release his totals; some advisers have hinted that he might eclipse Romney.
Romney's campaign said that it has kept $12M out of the nearly $44M in total receipts this year. That means that Romney has spent more than $32M.
Last quarter, Romney bested all Republicans with nearly $23M in receipts.
