Random Saturday Night Cooking Thread

By Ta-Nehisi Coates

A few things

1.) All Americans should be taught how to make a vinaigrette.

2.) Fresh pasta > Box pasta. It's criminal that I had to learn this at thirty-five years of age. The education system in this country sucks.

3.) If I weren't so lazy I'd make more caesar salads. I love a good one. But I'm too lazy too make the dressing every time. The vinaigrette keeps. I strongly suspect that the caesar won't.

4.) Lately the fam has been ODing on fresh pineapple. I think our carbon foot-print must be the size of Queens.

4.) I have a red velvet cupcake awaiting me this evening. I am happy.

So how goes it my fellow family chefs? Holla if you hear me...

More: Yes this really is random. One should cleanse the palate after arguing about Newt all day.
