An Intro on CP Time

Apologies for the late intro. I'm G.D., the founder of PostBourgie, a group blog that concerns itself with race and gender and politics. We also try to tackle some of the really pressing issues of the day, like why it is black folks are so much more likely to smoke mentholated cigarettes, or whether Betty Draper is an unlikable, vacant character being expertly inhabited by a fantastic actress or a fantastic character being played by an unlikeable, vacant actress.

I currently live in Brooklyn, though I hail from South Philly. (As Black Thought might say, I forever represent it.) As such, I'm a huge fan of the Roots, The Philadelphia Eagles—which I suppose should make TNC and I mortal enemies—but my hometown and upbringing also stoked an interest in education policy and the criminal justice system.

I've been a fan of TNC since his days at the Voice, and I'm honored to have been invited to guest-blog here and chop it up with y'all. This blog has, by far, the most thoughtful commenters I've ever come across in the blogosphere. It's really hard to overstate how rare and wonderful that is.
