I have stayed out of the frozen food aisle for some time, but my recollection is such that Ben and Jerry's is the undisputed, unconquerable autocrat of the non-recreational ice cream arena. Is this still the case? I'm talking like 1-1.5 standard deviations above the mean; up there with Tropicana for meaningful brand differentiations.

I am seriously partial to Stephen Colbert's Americone Dream, and Red Velvet Cake ice. We had some for my son's birthday party last week. I told him he may never have it in my presence again. Talk about devil's pie...
