I think it's worth talking about whether we want to continue after Battle Cry Of Freedom, and if so, where to? Eric Foner's Reconstruction has been the frontrunner. I would put in a word for Howe's What Hath God Wrought. Should we mix in some fiction? Maybe some primary docs? Let's open the thing up for discussion. We don't need an answer right now.
